Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pharmacy Technician II.

Key Responsibilities

Answer inbound calls from patients and doctors' offices
Contact doctors to obtain necessary prescription information for proper medication filling
Ensure correct shipment of specialty pharmacy orders and manage inventory of pharmaceuticals

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; some college preferred
National CPhT and/or registration/licensure required based on state requirements
Minimum two years of pharmacy support experience or healthcare environment experience preferred
Participation in compliance program objectives is expected
Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
