Job Summary

To support the processing of controlled substance orders, the full-time Controlled Substance/Medical Records Technician will accurately enter prescription data, assist pharmacists, and manage medical records in a 100% remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in processing controlled substance orders and prescriptions
• Accurately enter controlled substance orders and manage medical records in the computer system
• Contact physician offices for prescription requests and follow up on documentation as needed

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Pharmacy Technician License and/or Certification (CPhT) as per State requirements
• Minimum one year of pharmacy experience
• Data entry experience
• Medical records experience preferred
