Pharmacy Technician - NC Licensed
Job Summary
To support a high-volume inbound call center, the fully remote Pharmacy Technician - NC Licensed will manage the prior authorization process by assisting members and providers, reviewing clinical documentation, and documenting authorization determinations from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM CST.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a high volume of inbound calls from members, providers, and healthcare professionals
- Provide professional customer service while guiding callers through the prior authorization process
- Review clinical documentation for completeness and accurately document authorization decisions
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience, preferably in a healthcare or call center environment
- Minimum of 1 year of high-volume customer service or call center experience; healthcare experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy terminology and prior authorization workflows
- Reliable attendance and commitment to the full mandatory training period
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required
