Pharmacy Technician Prior Authorization

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Specialist I, Prior Authorization.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and healthcare professionals
• Contact doctors to obtain necessary information for prior authorizations
• Manage assigned workflow queues and ensure accurate documentation of patient information

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Some college preferred
• CPhT preferred
• Pharmacy technician license or trainee license preferred in states requiring licensure
• Minimum two years of pharmacy support or healthcare experience preferred
