Pharmacy Technician Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Pharmacy Technician Reimbursement Specialist will manage claims activity for accuracy, ensure proper patient billing information setup, and assist with patient communications regarding billing options.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor claims activity to ensure accuracy and successful submission
• Set up patient billing information appropriately in pharmacy software
• Respond to inquiries from employees, patients, and clients about reimbursement and billing issues

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED; some college preferred
• CPhT certification preferred
• Pharmacy technician license or trainee license strongly preferred in applicable states
• Experience with pharmacy, health plan, or clinical insurance claims billing preferred
• Commitment to compliance program objectives and ethical standards
