Pharmacy Technician Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Representative, Pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Handles and records inbound/outbound pharmacy calls from members, providers, and pharmacies
• Coordinates and processes pharmacy prior authorization requests and appeals
• Explains claims adjudication and pharmacy policies to members and providers

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of related experience, including call center or customer service experience
• Ability to work independently on special projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and applicable software programs
• Ability to develop and maintain positive work relationships
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or state pharmacy technician license preferred
