Pharmacy Technician Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Representative, Pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Handles inbound/outbound pharmacy calls and records them according to policies and regulations
• Processes pharmacy prior authorization requests and explains relevant policies to members and providers
• Assists with clerical tasks and supports pharmacists in medication reviews and member relations improvement

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of related experience, including call center or customer service
• Ability to work independently on special projects and manage multiple tasks
• Ability to develop and maintain positive work relationships with various stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and applicable software programs
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and/or state pharmacy technician license preferred
