Job Summary
Providing customer service support for inbound and outbound pharmacy calls, the full-time Pharmacy Technician Representative will work remotely, assisting members, providers, and pharmacies while contributing to medication-related healthcare outcomes during designated hours.
Key responsibilities
- Handles and records pharmacy calls in accordance with departmental policies and regulatory guidelines
- Processes pharmacy prior authorization requests and explains claims adjudication and policy information
- Maintains call quality standards and supports pharmacists with comprehensive medication reviews
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of related experience in call center or customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and applicable software programs
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette
- Experience developing positive work relationships with various stakeholders
