Job Summary

As a subject matter expert in denial research methods, the full-time remote Claims Specialist Team Lead will manage training for new employees, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with billing requirements while overseeing the accuracy of claims processing.

Key responsibilities

• Train new employees and provide ongoing support and mentorship to promote a positive work environment
• Review variances and write-offs for accuracy, and perform monthly quality assessments on staff
• Identify potential financial risks and assist in maintaining compliance with third-party billing requirements

Required qualifications

• High School graduate, GED, or equivalent experience; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3+ years of insurance billing experience with specialized knowledge in Medicare Part D, Medicaid, or Commercial billing
• Understanding of revenue cycle functions within pharmacy practice or a similar setting
• Desired: Pharmacy Technician certification
• Proficient in MS Office Products and basic computer systems
