Job Summary

As a subject matter expert in denial research methods, the full-time remote Claims Specialist Team Lead will train and mentor staff, oversee billing accuracy, and support management in optimizing work distribution while ensuring compliance with third-party billing requirements during night and weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Train new employees and provide ongoing support and mentorship to staff
• Review billing variances and write-offs for accuracy before supervisor approval
• Perform monthly quality assessments and report identified training needs to management

Required qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of insurance billing experience
• Specialized knowledge of Medicare Part D, Medicaid, or Commercial billing
• Understanding of revenue cycle functions within a pharmacy practice or equivalent setting
• Desired certification as a Pharmacy Technician
