Pharmacy Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter - Pharmacy (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and retain a designated book of business, calculating renewal rates and ensuring profitability
• Complete new business quotes and support corporate sales and profitability goals
• Monitor financial performance and provide technical expertise to Account Managers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
• 3 years of underwriting experience in group health, medical, ancillary benefits, and/or pharmacy
• Knowledge of risk selection and pricing methodologies in the health insurance industry
• Familiarity with industry laws, regulations, and benefit plan designs
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite of products
