Pharmacy Underwriting Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pharmacy Underwriting Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize Underwriting and Pricing Models, Excel, and SQL to analyze pharmacy spend and profitability
• Develop reports from pharmacy claims data for various business units and support financial evaluations for PBM RFPs
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and other departments to enhance the Underwriting Model and assist in onboarding new clients

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Math, Computer Science, Statistics, or IT preferred
• 1-3 years of experience as a Data Analyst in Pharmacy Benefits Management or related fields
• Intermediate knowledge of reporting and data analytics tools such as Excel, SAS, SQL, and Power BI
• Experience in financial modeling and translating business requirements into technical specifications
• Ability to think strategically, manage time effectively, and demonstrate a strong work ethic
