Pharmacy Underwriting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Manager - Pharmacy (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage insurance underwriting employee outcomes including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation
• Achieve operational objectives by contributing to strategic plans and implementing quality and productivity standards
• Ensure legal compliance and improve product profitability through audits and analysis of underwriting practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4 additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
• 5 years of progressive underwriting experience in group health, medical, ancillary, and/or pharmacy
• 1 year of supervisory or demonstrated progressive leadership experience
• Knowledge of insurance underwriting methods and procedures
• Ability to apply underwriting methods to create comprehensive reports
