Job Summary
A company is looking for a Pharmacy Vendor Manager responsible for overseeing relationships and contracts with pharmacy benefit managers and specialty pharmacy vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with PBMs and pharmacy vendors, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
- Develop strategies for contract negotiations and performance management to maximize value
- Monitor vendor performance and compliance, generating reports for senior leadership
Required Qualifications:
- Professional bachelor's degree in health care administration, public health, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years in a managed care setting
- Experience in pharmacy benefits management or healthcare contract management
- Understanding of Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial market regulations
