To support an integrated deterrence strategy, the part-time PhD Geopolitical Analyst will create analyses focused on the China-Taiwan issue and surrounding countries, requiring expertise in geopolitics and logistics, with remote work options available.

Key responsibilities:
  • Develop value models and conduct geopolitical analysis based on wargames, campaign analysis, and simulation experiments
  • Provide technical advice to research and project leads regarding the China-Taiwan issues
  • Serve as the co-principal investigator and primary advisor for associated research projects
Required qualifications:
  • PhD in Geopolitics or a related subject
  • In-depth study of the China-Taiwan issue within the past 5 years
  • Current Secret Clearance
  • Ability to travel occasionally
