Philanthropic Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Philanthropic Director to provide advisory support and enhance client giving experiences in the philanthropic sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage team operations, including project coordination, content development, and aligning guidance with internal teams
• Serve as a subject matter expert for clients, guiding them on governance, strategic grantmaking, and foundation strategies
• Participate in business development activities to increase visibility and support philanthropic interests through content creation and outreach

Required Qualifications

• Grantmaking experience at a private foundation is required
• 7-10 years of experience in the philanthropic/nonprofit sector, with at least 7 years in the philanthropic sector
• Strong skills in philanthropic strategy, program design, and foundation administration
• Experience advising high-net-worth clientele and foundation leadership teams
• Advanced degree in a related field preferred
