Philanthropy Development Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Philanthropy Development Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership in planning, implementing, evaluating, and administering philanthropic and corporate fundraising strategies
• Build and manage a portfolio of qualified donors, cultivating relationships and securing philanthropic funding
• Coordinate grant management pipeline, workflow, and schedules, and maintain relationships with grant management contacts

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, non-profit administration, or equivalent experience
• Minimum five years of fundraising and project management experience in a nonprofit organization
• Direct experience with foundations and large philanthropic donors
• Experience in asking for, writing, and closing grants of $250,000 or more
• Experience, coursework, or training in fundraising principles and practices
