Philanthropy Major Gifts Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Philanthropy (Major Gifts) to join their team remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, cultivate, and steward a portfolio of donors to drive fundraising goals
• Research prospects, develop solicitation strategies, and steward relationships with existing donors
• Collaborate with various teams to gather and synthesize information for donor communication

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 years of fundraising experience focused on high net-worth individuals
• Track record in securing 6-figure+ gifts from individual donors
• Experience in an EdTech non-profit and/or start-up environment preferred
• Proposal development experience
• CRM database knowledge and experience, Salesforce preferred
