Philosophy Affiliate Faculty

Job Summary

Teaching two asynchronous online courses, the part-time Philosophy Affiliate Faculty will deliver lectures, engage with students, and provide feedback while focusing on Introduction to Philosophy and Environmental Ethics during the fall 2026 and spring 2027 terms.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver recorded virtual lectures and engage with student discussions for online courses
• Hold one virtual office hour per week and respond to student inquiries and assignments
• Participate in course design in consultation with the department chair

Required qualifications

• Master's Degree in Philosophy or a related field
• Ph.D. in Philosophy or a related field (preferred)
• Teaching experience (preferred)
