Phone Claims Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Phone Claims Analyst - Supplemental Health - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately determine claim benefits payable based on medical information and contract language
• Communicate with external and internal customers to obtain claim information and explain claim handling
• Provide effective customer service via multiple channels, utilizing service recovery techniques to resolve requests

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Working understanding of computer systems including email, data entry, and Microsoft products
• Ability to assess and understand customer needs with a flexible approach
• Must have access to a high-speed internet connection and reside in the United States or Puerto Rico
• Preferred knowledge of insurance products and medical terminology
