PHP Website Developer

Job Summary

To support an innovative technology team, the contract PHP Website Developer will work remotely to refine project goals into iterative deliverables, manage sprints, and ensure high-quality feature delivery while collaborating closely with Engineering, Product Management, and Product Design.

Key responsibilities

• Ship full-stack features with measurable product impact and provide substantive code reviews
• Serve as a first responder for production issues, including triage and root cause analysis
• Improve the team's engineering practices over time through enhanced tooling and documentation

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in website development using PHP and MySQL
• Advanced knowledge of custom WordPress development and modern web app architecture
• Experience with REST APIs and relational databases
• Intermediate to advanced understanding of developer tooling and unit test writing
• Ability to communicate technical concepts in English at a professional level
