Job Summary

Providing essential support to the Physical Health Appeals Department, the fully remote Physical Health Coordinator will manage inquiries, conduct research, and assist in the processing of clinical appeals while collaborating across departments.

Key responsibilities
  • Respond to customer, clinician, or physician inquiries and ensure their needs are addressed
  • Distribute physical health appeals to appropriate clinicians and maintain production requirements
  • Support the clinical team by performing non-clinical functions necessary for case management
Required qualifications
  • 1 or 2 years of college education or 3 years of experience with automated systems
  • Experience coordinating member needs and providing assistance to members
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Database or PC applications experience
  • Customer service experience
