Physical Security Operations Lead

Job Summary

To support the Advanced Technology Group, the contracted Physical Security Technical Operations Lead will provide technical leadership and oversight for physical security projects, ensuring quality execution from design through implementation while working remotely during standard business hours with on-call escalation support as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical authority on physical security projects, leading site surveys and developing design documentation
• Provide real-time technical guidance to engineers and field technicians during system installations and oversee conversion bridge activities
• Collaborate with the Project Management Office to manage project scheduling, equipment delivery, and client coordination

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in project-based physical security work, including design and implementation
• Certifications such as PSP, CPP, or NICET Physical Security, or equivalent
• Deep knowledge of physical security technologies, including access control and video management systems
• Experience leading site surveys and producing detailed bills of materials for physical security deployments
• Familiarity with network fundamentals relevant to physical security IT integration
