Physical Security Operations Lead

Job Summary

To support the Advanced Technology Group, the contracted Physical Security Technical Operations Lead will provide technical leadership on physical security projects, ensuring quality execution from site surveys to implementation, while working remotely and offering on-call support as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical authority on physical security projects, overseeing design, documentation, and implementation
• Provide real-time technical guidance to engineers and field technicians during installations and integrations, ensuring adherence to specifications
• Collaborate with the Project Management Office to manage project scheduling, resource allocation, and technical dependencies

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in project-based physical security work, including design and implementation
• Deep knowledge of physical security technologies, including access control and video management systems
• Proven experience leading site surveys and producing design documentation for physical security deployments
• Required certifications such as PSP, CPP, or NICET Physical Security or equivalent
• Familiarity with network fundamentals relevant to physical security IT integration
