Physical Security Operations Lead

Job Summary

To support a dynamic team, the contracted Physical Security Technical Operations Lead will provide technical leadership and oversight for physical security projects, ensuring quality execution from design through implementation, while working remotely during standard business hours with on-call escalation support as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical authority on physical security projects, ensuring delivery milestones are met with quality
• Provide real-time technical guidance to engineers and field technicians during installations and integrations
• Partner with the Project Management Office on project scheduling and manage workload across concurrent projects

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in project-based physical security work, including design and implementation
• Required certifications such as PSP, CPP, or NICET Physical Security or equivalent
• Deep knowledge of physical security technologies, including access control and video management systems
• Experience leading site surveys and producing design documentation for physical security deployments
• Familiarity with network fundamentals relevant to physical security IT integration
