Physical Security Operations Lead

Job Summary

To support the Advanced Technology Group, the contracted Physical Security Technical Operations Lead will oversee technical quality and coordination on physical security projects, providing hands-on guidance to engineers and field technicians while working remotely during standard business hours with on-call support as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical authority on physical security projects from kickoff through closeout, ensuring delivery milestones are met with quality
• Provide real-time technical guidance to engineers and field technicians during system installations and oversee conversion bridge activities
• Partner with the Project Management Office on project scheduling, anticipating technical dependencies and managing workload across concurrent projects

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in project-based physical security work, including design, integration, and implementation of enterprise security systems
• Required certifications: PSP, CPP, or NICET Physical Security or equivalent
• Deep knowledge of physical security technologies, including access control and video management systems
• Experience leading site surveys and producing design documentation for physical security deployments
• Familiarity with network fundamentals relevant to physical security IT integration
