Physical Security Operations Lead

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time contracted Physical Security Technical Operations Lead to provide technical leadership and oversight on physical security projects, ensuring quality execution from design to implementation, while working remotely and offering on-call support as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical authority on physical security projects, ensuring delivery milestones are met with quality
• Provide real-time technical guidance to engineers and field technicians during installations and oversee conversion bridge activities
• Partner with the Project Management Office to manage project scheduling, anticipate technical dependencies, and coordinate resources

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in project-based physical security work, including design and implementation of enterprise security systems
• Required certifications: PSP, CPP, or NICET Physical Security or equivalent
• Deep knowledge of physical security technologies, including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems
• Experience leading site surveys and producing design documentation for physical security deployments
• Familiarity with network fundamentals relevant to physical security IT integration
