Physical Security Operations Lead

Job Summary

To support the delivery of physical security projects, the contracted Physical Security Technical Operations Lead will provide technical leadership and oversight for project execution, ensuring quality and coordination from design through implementation, while working remotely on a day shift schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical authority on physical security projects, leading site surveys and developing design documentation
• Provide real-time technical guidance to engineers and field technicians during installations and oversee conversion bridge activities
• Collaborate with the Project Management Office (PMO) on scheduling, resource allocation, and client communications throughout project delivery

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in project-based physical security work, including design, integration, and implementation
• Required certifications: PSP, CPP, or NICET Physical Security or equivalent
• Deep knowledge of physical security technologies, including access control and video management systems
• Experience leading site surveys and producing detailed bills of materials for physical security deployments
• Familiarity with network fundamentals relevant to physical security IT integration
