Physical Security Operations Leader

Job Summary

Seeking a highly experienced Physical Security Technical Operations Leader for a contracted remote position, who will manage technical quality and coordination on physical security projects from site survey through implementation, providing hands-on guidance to engineers and field technicians while ensuring adherence to client requirements and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical authority on physical security projects, ensuring quality delivery milestones are met
• Provide real-time technical guidance during system installations and oversee conversion bridge activities for complex installations
• Collaborate with the Project Management Office to manage project scheduling and anticipate technical dependencies affecting timelines

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in technical leadership for project-based physical security work
• Deep knowledge of physical security technologies, including access control and video surveillance systems
• Experience leading site surveys and producing design documentation for physical security deployments
• Required certifications such as PSP, CPP, or NICET in Physical Security or equivalent
• Familiarity with network fundamentals relevant to physical security IT integration
