Physical Security Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Physical Security Specialist to lead the implementation and oversight of physical security controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct physical security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop recommendations for improvements
• Oversee security technologies, manage system installations, and ensure compliance with organizational requirements
• Serve as the primary responder for security incidents, coordinating investigations and preparing incident reports

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in business or a related field
• 5 or more years of experience in physical security or asset protection, with a preference for banking/financial sector experience
• 3 or more years of experience with video surveillance, alarm systems, and access control systems
• Valid driver's license is required
• ASIS PSP or similar certification preferred or the ability to obtain it within 2 years
