Physician Advisor

Job Summary

To support aspiring medical students and residents, the part-time Physician Advisor will conduct one-on-one advising sessions, collaborate on personal statements and applications, and facilitate mock interviews, all while working remotely and dedicating over 20 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with pre-medical applicants and medical students applying to residency
• Conduct advising sessions, offering comprehensive advice and coaching for academic and professional development
• Assist in creating medical school lists and facilitate mock interviews with constructive feedback

Required qualifications

• MD or DO Physician who attended a US Medical School
• Previous medical school admissions and/or residency experience
• Experience mentoring students or residents
• Availability of 20+ hours per week for student support
• Knowledge of the medical school admissions process
