Physician Advisor - Digital Health

Job Summary

To support a venture capital fund focused on digital health, the part-time Physician Advisor - Digital Health will evaluate emerging healthcare technologies, provide clinical insights for investment strategies, and advise portfolio companies remotely for 2-3 hours per month.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate startups from a clinical perspective, focusing on safety, efficacy, and workflow integration
• Assess investment opportunities in areas such as AI, telemedicine, and digital therapeutics
• Advise founders on clinical workflows and regulatory considerations while identifying emerging healthcare trends

Required qualifications

• MD or DO with clinical experience (active practice or recent)
• Strong understanding of healthcare delivery, reimbursement, and regulatory landscape
• Interest in digital health, innovation, and venture capital
• Experience with startups or health tech is a plus
• Ability to provide high-level insight with a limited time commitment
