Physician Billing Compliance Coordinator

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare system, the full-time remote Physician Billing Compliance Coordinator will manage compliant billing practices, investigate billing requirements, and resolve payer denials while collaborating with clinical and revenue cycle departments.

Key responsibilities:

• Researches and provides billing guidance for new services and charge codes
• Monitors and assists with the implementation of payer and regulatory policy changes
• Manages payer denial trends and ensures timely resolution of government payer audits

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in revenue cycle or healthcare compliance, with 3 years in physician billing and coding
• Nationally recognized physician coding certification
• Strong understanding of billing, coding, and telehealth billing requirements
• Experience with Epic practice management system
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in HIM, Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field
