Physician Billing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an AR Specialist II, Physician Billing.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact insurance companies to secure outstanding payments through various communication methods
• Review and resolve complex claim rejections and monitor reimbursement policy changes
• Perform special projects and adjust claims based on third-party reimbursement guidelines

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Two years of experience in Revenue Cycle knowledge including PFS, Customer Service, and 3rd party reimbursement
• Knowledge of ICD, CPT, HCPCS coding, and major third-party payor billing practices
• Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes
• Computer skills including mainframe, PC applications, and Excel
