Physician Scheduler

Job Summary

To support efficient practice operations, the full-time Physician Scheduler will manage the QGenda scheduling program, overseeing physician scheduling, shift distribution, and tracking of paid time off in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Become a subject matter expert in QGenda software to optimize scheduling functionality
• Coordinate daily and long-term physician scheduling while managing requests and swaps from radiologists
• Update and maintain scheduling rules to ensure efficiency and equitable shift distribution

Required qualifications

• Experience with QGenda scheduling software preferred, with training available for those without experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a demanding office or administrative setting
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in physician schedule management
• Prior experience in a healthcare environment strongly preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
