Physician Services Support Specialist

Job Summary

To support a dedicated team focused on quality patient care, the full-time remote Physician Services Support Specialist will manage physician schedules, coordinate coverage for radiologists, and assist in maintaining positive physician relations while handling various administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Administer physician schedules through the Qgenda system and manage absences to secure appropriate coverage
• Relay concerns impacting quality of care to operations leadership and assist with special projects related to physician services
• Maintain confidentiality and organize files while supporting operations management in long-range planning and communications

Required qualifications

• A four-year degree in business administration or healthcare administration, or 3+ years of experience in the radiology service industry or physician relations/management
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, QGenda, and online meeting platforms
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple high-level responsibilities simultaneously
• Experience evaluating physician capabilities and understanding external healthcare industry influences on physician relations
• Ability to maintain proactive relationships with physicians and demonstrate leadership skills in interactions with senior management
