Job Summary

Seeking a structured and patient Male Piano Instructor, this part-time remote position will conduct 1-on-1 lessons for a beginner student, focusing on foundational techniques and basic music theory.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach foundational piano techniques, including correct finger positioning, posture, and scale exercises
• Guide the student through reading sheet music, understanding time signatures, rhythms, and basic chord structures
• Plan sequential lessons that match the student's learning pace, assigning weekly practice pieces and exercises

Required Qualifications

• Formal grade certification from a recognized board (like Trinity College London or ABRSM Grade 3 to 5) preferred
• Strong practical command of the instrument, with experience as a self-taught musician or church pianist welcomed
• Excellent patience and communication skills to simplify complex musical concepts for beginners
• Strong commitment to the scheduled hourly slots
