Pilot Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pilot Subject Matter Expert and Pilot Vehicle Interface Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and design innovative Pilot Vehicle Interface (PVI) mechanizations for tactical cockpits
• Provide Pilot SME support to train test pilots and engineers on aircraft capabilities and PVI
• Collaborate with pilots and engineers to design, implement, and document PVI solutions

Required Qualifications and Education

• High-level knowledge of 4th and 5th Generation fighters and mission systems
• Experience in supporting studies related to aircraft operations
• Ability to work closely with customers through engineering design reviews and simulations
• Must be a US Citizen due to special access requirements
• This is a non-flying position
