Pipe Stress Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pipe Stress Engineer to support projects in the power and energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and analyze modifications to existing power plants and new plant systems
• Perform pipe stress calculations and develop design recommendations, specifications, and change packages
• Lead design engineering efforts within a multidisciplinary project team and mentor junior engineers

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
• 2-5 years of piping/mechanical design experience focused on pipe stress analysis in relevant industries
• Proficiency in AutoPIPE, GTSTRUDL, and Mathcad
• Professional Engineering (P.E.) license preferred
• Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S
