Pipe Stress Engineer

Job Summary

Excited about working on impactful engineering projects, the remote Pipe Stress Engineer will manage technical quality and schedules for industrial and commercial facilities, while collaborating with a multi-discipline team to design and develop various systems and components.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the technical quality and scheduling of engineering tasks related to pipe stress analysis and support design
• Collaborate with a multi-discipline team to develop and design equipment and facilities for commercial and industrial projects
• Gain familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule to ensure project success

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• At least 2 years of engineering experience
• Knowledge of pipe stress analysis and support design
• Familiarity with piping codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API)
• Experience with pipe stress analysis software such as AutoPIPE and Caesar II is preferred
