Pipeline GIS Technician

Job Summary

To support advanced spatial and tabular data management, the full-time Pipeline GIS Technician will provide technical consulting, manage data workflows, and collaborate with clients remotely to optimize business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support clients in data management, including PODS and UPDM data model maintenance and quality control efforts
• Develop and provide training on data management workflows, processes, and procedures, while automating workflows using model builder and/or Python scripts
• Deliver high-level GIS integration expertise and technical writing for client deliverables, ensuring quality standards are met

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, science, technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of demonstrable GIS experience, including advanced skills in ArcPro and SQL queries
• Advanced knowledge of database frameworks using PODS and UPDM
• Experience with GIS applications for pipelines or TVC and As-Built projects
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
