PKI Architect

Job Summary

To support a growing demand for secure communications, the part-time contract PKI Architect will develop and implement PKI strategies, manage certificate lifecycles, and conduct security assessments while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a holistic PKI strategy and design end-to-end PKI architecture
• Manage certificate authorities and automate certificate lifecycle management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure integration of PKI elements

Required qualifications

• Demonstrable expertise in cryptography, certificate management, and networking protocols
• Hands-on experience with PKI technologies and standards such as X.509 and OCSP
• Strong scripting skills in Python or Shell for automation
• Knowledge of IT and Cybersecurity frameworks like NIST and ISO 27001/2
• Certifications such as CISSP or CISM are preferred
