PKI Engineer
Job Summary
Designing, deploying, and maintaining a secure Public Key Infrastructure, the full-time PKI Engineer will automate certificate lifecycles and support Zero Trust architecture while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) for internal and external certificate requirements
- Manage the full certificate lifecycle, including request, issuance, validation, and renewal
- Implement and maintain automated certificate issuance and renewal workflows using ACME-based technologies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience designing and administering enterprise Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
- Strong knowledge of X.509 certificates and certificate lifecycle management
- Experience with AWS Private CA, AWS Certificate Manager, and AWS CloudHSM
- Familiarity with Federal PKI, DoD PKI, and Zero Trust architectures
