PL/SQL Application Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a PL/SQL Application Developer III.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform PL/SQL development for medium to large projects supporting business applications
• Conduct full project software activities including requirements discovery, design, development, deployment, and documentation
• Assess and resolve performance issues with SQL and PL/SQL

Required Qualifications

• 4-year college degree in a technical field or at least 8 years of relevant experience
• At least 5 years of experience with PL/SQL, including creating/modifying tables, packages, and procedures
• Strong skills in Oracle database technologies (9i, 10g, 11g)
• Experience with assessing SQL and PL/SQL performance using explain plans and TKPROF
• Experience with Unix/Linux preferred
