PL/SQL Developer

Job Summary

To support ongoing database initiatives, the contract-to-hire PL/SQL Developer will develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL solutions, troubleshoot technical issues, and create automation scripts while working remotely from Virginia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL solutions, including functions, procedures, triggers, and packages
• Participate in production implementations and collaborate with production support to ensure smooth transitions of system changes
• Analyze and resolve database and application performance issues in partnership with cross-functional teams

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field, or four additional years of experience
• Minimum of six years of experience as an Oracle Database Developer
• Strong expertise in Oracle performance tuning, including SQL and PL/SQL optimization
• Ability to create, modify, and tune SQL queries and PL/SQL code
• US Citizen with the ability to obtain a public trust clearance
