PL/SQL Developer

Job Summary

To support a growing IT team, the contract-to-hire PL/SQL Developer will develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL solutions, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure best practices for database environments while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL solutions, including functions, procedures, triggers, and packages
• Participate in production implementations and collaborate with the production support group for system changes
• Create and maintain automation and data-processing scripts, and troubleshoot database and application performance issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related discipline, or four additional years of experience
• A minimum of six years of job-related experience as an Oracle Database Developer
• Strong expertise in Oracle performance tuning, including SQL and PL/SQL optimization
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data and system performance issues
• US Citizen with the ability to obtain a public trust clearance
