PL/SQL Developer

Job Summary

To support ongoing projects, the contract-to-hire PL/SQL Developer will develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL solutions, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure database environments adhere to best practices while working remotely from Virginia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL solutions, including functions, procedures, triggers, and packages
• Participate in production implementations and collaborate with production support to ensure smooth transitions of system changes
• Create and maintain automation and data-processing scripts, and troubleshoot database and application performance issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science/management information systems or four additional years of relevant experience
• A minimum of six years of experience as an Oracle Database Developer
• Strong expertise in Oracle performance tuning and in-depth knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
• Ability to create, modify, and tune SQL queries and PL/SQL code
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a public trust clearance
