Placement Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting student success in a fully remote environment, the full-time Placement Specialist will provide academic advising, transcript evaluation, graduation planning, and guidance on College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) while collaborating with instructors, mentors, and families to ensure proper student scheduling and progress toward graduation.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate student academic records to develop individualized graduation plans and ensure accurate course placement
• Collaborate with staff to support student academic success and respond to inquiries regarding transcripts and graduation requirements
• Assist students and families in exploring postsecondary opportunities and coordinate College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) initiatives

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Two to five years of experience in academic advising, transcript evaluation, or related educational services preferred
• Experience in a virtual education environment is preferred
• Knowledge of graduation requirements and College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) is essential
• Advanced proficiency with student information systems (SIS) and virtual collaboration platforms
