Plan Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Plan Coding Specialist I to analyze plan documents and maintain group set-up in the Qiclink System.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately code self-funded and fully insured groups based on plan documents
• Update coding for all plan changes and maintain HRA processing plans
• Audit accuracy of tasks and coordinate with staff to ensure proper coding of benefits

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years of Healthcare Benefits Experience required
• 1-2 years of Plan Coding experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with Microsoft Access is a plus
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding terminology
