Plan Consultant I
Job Summary
Detail-driven and analytically minded, the fully remote Plan Consultant I will ensure accurate retirement plan administration and compliance with IRS, DOL, and ERISA regulations, while performing compliance testing, data management, and government filings.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor compliance obligations and perform annual nondiscrimination testing for assigned retirement plans
- Review and reconcile census data and participant contribution discrepancies to ensure accuracy
- Prepare government filings, including Form 5500 and extensions, to maintain compliance
Required qualifications
- 0-3 years of experience in qualified retirement plan administration and compliance
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Meticulous attention to detail with a low tolerance for errors
- Knowledge of ERISA regulations is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
